Use the folders on the Contents tab under the File Layouts folder to access the file layout information for each module.

For non-Business Framework modules, information in these files includes field descriptions, column names, data types, position, length, and masks for fields. The file layout files also list the record type, file type, and key size.

For Business Framework modules, the file layouts list the defined keys, main business object use for maintenance and Visual Integrator imports, field names and descriptions, and class.
