Select Work Order Inquiries menu > Work Order History Inquiry. In the Work Order History Inquiry window, in the Work Order Number field, enter a work order number. Click the Operations tab, select a work order step, and then click the Operation Detail button. In the Operation Detail Inquiry (History) window, click the Extended Step Description Inquiry button.

This task is available only if an extended description was entered for the selected step.

Use Extended Step Inquiry (History) to view the extended step description of a step for a work order that was closed and purged.
