Bar Code Raw Data Storage

The Bar Code module contains three Raw Data Storage tables that hold data records that are not validated. These tables are the BC_Header, BC_Detail, and BC_Distribution tables. The data is written to these tables before any kind of validation and it is from these tables that the import objects obtain the data for validation and to process the import.

Master Developers can use Bar Code API (Application Programming Interface) objects to write the raw data into the Raw Data Storage. They can also use the APIs to trigger import routines from their application, bypassing the Unattended Bar Code Transaction Import task.
