User-Defined Scripting for Panel Events

User-defined scripting of UI events allows customer-specific rules and UI effects to be applied to a specific panel or dialog box. These scripts can be invoked automatically, without user interaction.

Note The Allow External Access check box in Company Maintenance must be selected to enable user-defined scripting. The check box can be used to restrict scripting to a specific test company when developing debugging scripts.

The following table describes the events.

Panel Events

Execution Description

PostLoad

After a dialog box or panel is drawn but before the focus is applied to the first control.

OnExit

When focus is leaving a panel or when a dialog box is closing.
