Access this window using one of the following methods:

• If you are copying a main account, select General Ledger Setup menu > Main Account Maintenance. In the Main Account Maintenance window, select a main account and click Copy.

• If you are copying a subaccount, select General Ledger Setup menu > Sub Account Maintenance. In the Sub Account Maintenance window, select a subaccount and click Copy.

Use Copy Accounts to create new accounts for the main account selected in Main Account Maintenance or the subaccount selected in Sub Account Maintenance by copying information from existing accounts. After your chart of accounts is set up and you add a new main account or subaccount, this window allows you to update your chart of accounts by creating new accounts based on the new main account or subaccount and existing accounts.
