Maintain Sales Promotion Information

Use this procedure to maintain sales promotion information for item codes, product lines, price codes, and primary vendors.

 

To maintain sales promotion information

  1. Select Inventory Management Main menu > Sales Promotion Maintenance.

  2. In the Sales Promotion field, select a sales promotion. For more information, see Sales Promotion Maintenance - Fields.

  3. Click Apply.

  4. In the Apply Sales Promotion window, select the items for the sales promotion. For more information, see Apply Sales Promotion - Fields.

  5. To print a list of items selected for the promotion, click the Print button, and then click Print in the Sales Promotion Apply Report window.

If you don't want to print the report, click Proceed. You can access the report later from the Main menu.

  1. When a message asks if you want to apply the sales promotion, click Yes. The sales promotion information is applied.
  2. When you've finished applying promotions, print the Sales Promotion Apply Report and review it for accuracy.
  1. Select Inventory Management Main menu > Sales Promotion Report.

  2. In the Sales Promotion field, select a promotion.

Note If you leave the Sales Promotion field blank, all items with no promotion applied will be listed on the report.

  1. Make other selections as needed and then click Print.

  2. Review the report. If there are any errors, return to Sales Promotion Maintenance to make changes.
