Change a .store Customer to a .order Customer

You can change a .store customer to a .order customer to give the customer payment terms. If separate Accounts Receivable divisions exist for .store and .order customers, you can also run the Delete/Change Customers task on the Accounts Receivable Utilities menu to renumber .store customer numbers to a different division. This ensures that the division you set up for .store electronic commerce is properly maintained for reporting purposes.

You cannot change .order customers to .store customers. User IDs for .store customers are automatically created when .store customers access your Web site.

 

To change a .store customer to a .order customer

  1. Select eBusiness Manager Main menu > User ID Maintenance.

  2. In the User ID field, enter the .store customer to change to a .order customer.

  3. In the Type field, select .order

Note After you click Accept, you will not be able to access the Type field to change the type back to .store.

  1. Click Accept.

The .store customer is now a .order customer.
