Use this procedure to enter multiple values in the Value field using separators. Using separators allows you to select multiple values that are not in a range.

To enter multiple values using separators

  1. In the Operand field in a report or form window, select an operand to limit your selection to a particular value.

Note If multiple special characters are included in the selection for the report, use the Begins with or Contains operand.

  1. In the Value field, enter a value based on the operand entered.

  2. Enter a comma or an alternate separator and enter the second value without entering a space.

Note When alternate separators are used, the value list must end with the alternate separator character. The alternate separators include: ~ @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) = { } \ ; " / _ + { } : < > ?

  1. Click Print or Preview.

The results are generated for the values entered.
