Updating the Percent Complete

The percent complete for each step is updated when you process a labor transaction in Work Order Transaction Entry. It is calculated based on the number of hours updated for the entry versus the number of planned hours, or if the Step Complete check box is selected on the Work Order Transaction Entry Lines tab.

For example: If you have 20 standard labor hours in a step and you update a labor transaction for 5 hours, the percent complete for that step is 25 percent. If you update a labor transaction that has the Step Complete check box selected, the step is 100 percent complete.

The percent complete for each step can be viewed on the Work Order Inquiry Operations tab, or printed on the Open Work Order Report.
