Select Work Order Inquiries menu > Work Order Inquiry. In the Work Order Inquiry window, in the Work Order Number field, enter a work order number. Click the Operations tab, select a work order step, and then click the Operation Detail button. In the Operation Detail Inquiry window, click the Extended Step Description Inquiry button.

This task is available only if an extended description was entered for the selected step.

Use Extended Step Inquiry to view the extended step description for a work order step.
