This task is available only if Sort by Warehouse or Sort by Work Order is selected in the Print Picking Sheets field in the Work Order Options window.
W/O Picking Sheet Printing uses information entered in Work Order Entry to produce picking sheets, itemizing the inventory items for each work order. You can sort picking sheets by warehouse or work order, and you can sort items on a picking sheet by item code and bin location.
Each picking sheet shows the location, unit of measure, and quantity required for each item, and provides columns for writing in the quantities picked and the quantities short. For items using a Lot or Serial costing method, space is also provided for writing in the appropriate identifying number. Other information printed on the picking sheet includes the warehouse code and description, work order number, step number, work center, and scheduled start date.
You can print bar codes for selected information. Bar codes can be printed on the picking sheet header for information such as the work order number, work center, operation code, and bin location. In addition, bar codes for the inventory item code, quantity required, step number, work center, and operation code can be printed for each inventory item.
All picking sheets within the starting and ending ranges are added to the current print file. A picking sheet can be printed for a work order only if it is set up to print a picking sheet in Work Order Entry.
You can print graphical or nongraphical picking sheets based on your selection in Work Order Options.
