Select Work Order Main menu > Work Order Entry. In the Work Order Entry window, in the Work Order Number field, enter a work order number. Enter information for the work order. Click the Operations tab, enter information for a step, and then, click the Extended Step Text Maintenance button at the Step Description field.

Use Step Text Maintenance to enter or edit an extended step description.
