The Business Objects Interface (BOI) is automatically provided as part of your Sage 100 activation. The Business Objects Interface allows third-party developers with the necessary skills to access Sage 100 programs and applications using Component Object Model (COM).

Support for the Business Objects Interface is available to those who achieve certification through the Sage 100 Object Interface Realtime Course. Support is limited to the Business Object Interface and any Sage 100 programs written by Sage developers.

Expand or collapse item Will Sage help me troubleshoot or develop my program if it uses the Business Objects Interface?

Unfortunately, Sage cannot troubleshoot, debug, or assist with the design of programs not written by Sage developers. Consult with your programming language provider or consultant for language specific issues (including COM usage).

Sage does provide some examples to assist you in learning how to use our code in your programs. Additionally, you can seek the help of peers through the SageTalk Online Forums or consult with a Sage Development Partner. ProvideX programming support is available for Development Partners creating modifications to Sage 100 programs.
