Copy Standard Journal

Source Journal

This field displays the source journal entered in the Source Journal field in the General Journal Entry window.

 

Standard Journal

Enter a code of up to six characters to identify the standard journal for the selected source journal.

Copy From

Enter an existing standard journal code to copy its information to the new standard journal, or click the Lookup button to select an existing standard journal.

 

Description

Enter a description to identify the new standard journal. If a description is defined for the existing standard journal entered in the Copy From field in the Copy Standard Journal window, the description displays in this field, but can be changed.

 

Copy Comments

Select this check box to copy comments entered in the Journal Comment and Comment fields on the General Journal Entry Header and Lines tabs from the existing standard journal to the new standard journal.
