After running a search in the Activity Log Search window, you can use the Purge button in the Activity Log window to purge all of the records returned in the search results. Periodically purging the log will result in better performance.
To purge the Activity Log
Select Library Master Reports menu > Activity Log.
Click the Search button.
Enter search criteria in the Activity Log Search window to define what activity you want to purge. For more information, see Activity Log Search - Fields.
Click OK. The search results appear in the Activity Log window.
Click the Purge button.
The records returned in the search results are purged from the log.
