Overview

Use Recalculate Entries to recalculate the hours worked based on the overtime rules established for the current shift in Shift Maintenance. The current shift is the one assigned to the employee in the Employee Time Track Settings window. If no shift is assigned to the employee, the default shift selected in Shift Maintenance is used.

The program creates adjusting entries if the regular-time hours exceed the cap at which overtime starts, and also if an overtime earnings code is used when overtime should not be calculated.

The Recalculate Entries window shows the current hours and the adjustment amount. You can click Adjust to create the adjusting entries, or you can click Exit to close the window without making any adjustments.

If multiple entries meet the criteria for an adjustment, when you click Adjust, the adjusting entries are created and the next entry is displayed. You can click Skip to switch from the entry you're currently viewing to the next one without making an adjustment.
