Steps and Substeps

The Work Order module uses the step number to identify a single operation that is performed during the manufacturing process. A step can be an assembly step, an inspection step, or a painting step. Each step is assigned a specific operation code performed at a specific work center and takes a predefined amount of time. The sequence of the step numbers controls the order that these operations are performed.
