Use Copy Operation Code to copy operation information from another work center and/or operation.
Operation Code Maintenance provides you with flexibility in determining how costs and overhead are calculated and what general ledger accounts are used to post production costs.
Copy Operation Code can be used to speed the creation of operation codes. For example, if all operation codes for a work center use the same overhead rates and general ledger accounts, you may want to establish the first operation code and then use the Copy Operation Code to create each additional operation code for the same work center. You only need to change specific fields that are different for each operation code.
