You can sort data in the Data View grid in ascending or descending order.

To sort data

  1. Select Business Insights Explorer menu and then select a view.

  2. In the Business Insights Explorer window, in the Data View grid, sort the data using one of the following methods:

  3. Click the column header to sort the data by that column.

    Note     If the column header currently displays an up or down arrow, clicking the column header reverses the order of the sort. If the column header does not currently display an arrow, clicking the column header initially sorts the data in ascending order.

  4. Select a cell within a column to sort by and then click the Sort Ascending or Sort Descending button in the Business Insights Explorer toolbar.

    Note     If the column header currently displays an up or down arrow, clicking the Sort Ascending or Sort Descending button reverses the order of the sort.

The data in the Data View grid is sorted.

To remove the sort order from the Data View grid, select Data menu > Remove Sort.
