Access this window using one of the following methods:

Select Accounts Payable Main menu > Invoice History Inquiry. In the Invoice History Inquiry window, enter the invoice number, click the Lines tab, and then select a line item. Click the Comment button.

Select Accounts Receivable Main menu > Invoice History Inquiry. In the Invoice History Inquiry window, enter the invoice number, click the Lines tab, and then select a line item. Click the Comment button.

Select Sales Order Inquiries menu > Invoice History Inquiry. In the Invoice History Inquiry window, enter the invoice number, click the Lines tab, and then select a line item. Click the Comment button.

Select Sales Order Inquiries menu > Sales Order and Quote History Inquiry. In the Sales Order and Quote History Inquiry window, enter the order number, click the Lines tab, and then select a line item. Click the Comment button.

Select Return Merchandise Authorization Inquiries menu > Invoice History Inquiry. In the Invoice History Inquiry window, enter the invoice number, click the Lines tab, and then select a line item. Click the Comment button.

Select Purchase Order Inquiries menu > Receipt History Inquiry. In the Receipt History Inquiry window, enter the purchase order number or receipt number, click the Lines tab, and then select a line item. Click the Comment button.

Select Purchase Order Inquiries menu > Purchase Order History Inquiry. In the Purchase Order Inquiry window, enter the purchase order number, click the Lines tab, and then select a line item. Click the Comment button.

Select Bill of Materials Inquiries menu > Bill of Materials Inquiry. In the Bill of Materials Inquiry window, enter the bill number and option code, click Explode, and then select the comment line. Click the Comment button.

Select Bank Reconciliation Main menu > Reconcile Bank. In the Reconcile Bank window, enter the bank code and click the Dep/Adjust tab. Select a line item and then click the Comment button.

Use Comment Text to view comments for all item types.
Note The Extended Item Description button is available for entering comments for Inventory item types.
