Expand/Collapse item How do I set up Microsoft Fax Services?

Microsoft Fax Services is provided with Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista. To set up, you must add the Windows Fax Services component, and then set up the Fax Console. For more information, refer to the Microsoft Windows or Microsoft Fax Console Help system.

Note To use Microsoft Fax Services in a client/server environment, the Microsoft Fax server must be set up on a Windows Server 2003 system.

 

Expand or collapse item When I fax, the documents appear in PDF format and remain open. Can I set Adobe Acrobat to close automatically?

Adobe Acrobat is designed to remain open after the PDF document is generated. If this is a concern, you can obtain and set up another PDF software as your default PDF reader.
