Expand/Collapse item Do I need to enter a country code when faxing internationally?

For international faxing, numbers must be entered in Sage 100 Standard with the country code within brackets, followed by the area code and number.

Expand or collapse item How do I set the Default location at the WinFax Server?

Sage recommends using the Default location at the WinFax Server and the local workstation. Perform the following steps.

  1. In the WinFax Message Manager window, from the Tools menu, click Program Setup.

  2. Select the Dialing and Location option and click the Location tab.

  3. In the Location field, select Default. Click Apply and then OK.

  4. Close the WinFax Program Setup window.

 

Expand or collapse item How do I set the Windows Dialing method at the local workstation?

Sage recommends using the Windows Dialing method at the local workstation. Perform the following steps.

  1. In the WinFax Message Manager window, from the Tools menu, click Program Setup.

  2. Select the Dialing and Location option and click Advanced.

  3. Select the Windows Dialing option.

  4. Select Properties and complete the information on the General tab.

  5. If you require 10-digit dialing, click the Area Code Rules tab and enter the required information.

  6. Close the WinFax Program Setup window.
