 How do I search entries within a grid?

In data entry grids, you can go to a particular row by entering the row number in the Quick Row field. You can also search through a data entry or embedded grid by clicking the Find Row button in the Quick Row field, or by clicking Find in the right-click menu. This brings up a Search Grid window that allows you to search by column name or a specific search value. You can also select whether to search up or down the grid.

 

Why do I receive a message in the User Maintenance grid that a company name must be selected when moving from one row in the grid to another?

After you make any entry at a field in a row, you must finish the data entry in the row before entering data into a new row.

 Why doesn't a row in a data entry grid reset when I click Reset after deleting the row?

The data entry grids in the software are designed to reset data entry changes made within a row, not to replace an entire row that has been deleted. The Reset Row button only works on existing rows in a grid. If you delete a row and then click the Reset button, the row will not reappear. You can, however, make a change to a row and click the Reset button to bring back the settings that you previously made in that row.
