General

Expand/Collapse item How do I scroll through pages in the Preview window?

When Previewing a report, you are initially started at page 1. If you use the vertical scrollbar, you are scrolling from the top to the bottom of the same page. To go to any other page, use the browse buttons (First, Previous, Next, Last) or click on the Page # button to go directly to a specific page.

Expand/Collapse item The Preview does not show all of my invoices. What's wrong?

The Preview feature is not currently supported for printed forms. When using the Preview feature for printed forms such as checks and invoices, only the first page is available. You may see several forms printed together on the first page. Do not try to print a form from the Preview window.

Troubleshooting

Expand/Collapse item How can I perform updates when using the Preview feature for registers?

You must be a user with supervisor rights in order to update after previewing a register. This is an audit control feature to ensure that only authorized personnel can bypass printing of audit reports. To grant a user supervisor rights, use User Maintenance in the Library Master - Security menu.

Expand or collapse item Why is it that sometimes I cannot go to the last page of the report when in the Preview window?

The Preview window has been designed to display the first several pages of the report as soon as they are processed. Because the software is a multi-tasking system, the report will continue to process the remainder of the report while you view the first pages. The last page processed is displayed in the tool bar area until the report has been completed. Note that the Print button in the Viewer is disabled until all of the report has been processed.

Expand or collapse item Why does a banner page and a blank page print on the printer when using the Preview option?

The software reports open the printer device as soon as you access it from the menu. When you preview the report, the printer device is closed, but this may trigger the banner page printing depending on your printer setup. You must disable the banner page and the extra form feed option in the Windows Printer Setup to prevent blank pages from printing.
