You can delete an existing standard journal.

 

To delete a standard journal

  1. Select General Ledger Main menu > General Journal Entry.

  2. In the General Journal Entry window, in the Source Journal field, select a source journal code. For more information, see General Journal Entry - Fields.

  3. Click Save Standard.

  4. In the Save Standard Journal window, in the Standard Journal field, select the standard journal to delete and click Delete. For more information, see Save Standard Journal - Fields.

The selected standard journal is deleted.

Note If you do not want to post the journal entry after deleting the standard journal, in the General Journal Entry window, click Cancel.
