Select Material Requirements Planning Main menu > MRP Generation.

Overview

Use MRP Generation to perform the MRP generation process. When determining the demand for an item, the system looks at the projected demands, existing work orders, and existing sales orders.

Note MRP does not make a recommendation on the MRP Report if there is sufficient quantity on hand in inventory for work orders assigned to sales orders.

Note The system does not check whether the Inactive Item check box in Item Maintenance is selected for items included in recommendations created using this task.
