Percent Complete Calculation

Expand/Collapse all Show/Hide All

When items are completed, the unit cost for each item is calculated by looking at the percent complete for each step in the work order and the costs that have been updated to each step. This ensures that the unit cost is calculated properly whether the entry is for a partial completion or for all of the items planned.

Expand/Collapse item  Example

If a work order for 10 items has one step that is 100 percent complete and contains $500.00 worth of costs, a completion entry for 5 of those items calculates a unit cost of $50.00 each ($250.00 / 5). The calculation also takes into account any previous completions that have already been processed against this work order.
