User-Defined Table Maintenance
Enter data for the key field column and each corresponding user-defined field column in the table.
The heading of the first column displays the key field description entered in the Key Field Description field in the Add User-Defined Table window. The headings of all other columns display the user-defined field (UDF) description entered in the Description field in the Add Field window.
Note Data that has been entered in the key field cannot be modified. To change the key field data, you must delete the row by selecting it and clicking the Delete Row button. Then reenter the correct data.
A user-defined table (UDT) was created to store information about General Ledger projects, including project codes, project descriptions, and project supervisors. All General Ledger projects have a 10-character project code, which was used as the key field to the table. UDFs for the project description and supervisor were added to the UDT.
In the User-Defined Table Maintenance window, the project codes are entered in the Project Code column. The corresponding project descriptions and supervisors for each project are entered in the Description and Supervisor columns, as follows:
