Select Inventory Management Main menu > Item Maintenance. Enter a new warranty code in the Warranty Code field. A message appears confirming that you want to create a new warranty code. Click Yes.
Note This window is available only if the Enable Warranty Tracking check box is selected in the Inventory Management Options window.

Use Warranty Code Maintenance (On The Fly) to create and maintain warranty codes on the fly. You can assign a warranty code to each inventory item. You can also specify the number of days used to calculate warranty expiration dates.
