Select Inventory Management Setup menu > Warehouse Code Maintenance.
Use Warehouse Code Maintenance to set up and maintain information for all inventory locations such as stores, warehouses, and departments. By establishing multiple warehouse codes, you can produce inventory reports by warehouse, print labels and physical count sheets, and post inventory transactions to the general ledger by warehouse.
You can change the status of a warehouse to determine whether it can be selected in data entry tasks. For example, if you want to temporarily freeze activity in a warehouse while counting inventory, you can set the status to Restricted. If a warehouse is no longer used, you can set the status to Inactive.
The warehouse code 000 typically identifies the main warehouse. If you do not use multiple warehouses, warehouse 000 will be used and cannot be deleted.
Note You cannot delete warehouse codes that are in use.
