Web Menu Maintenance - Fields

Group

Select the menu group to modify.

Select MAIN to access the .inquiry and .order Internet menus.

Select HELP to access .inquiry and .order Help text.

Select STORE HELP to access .store Help text.

Select STORE MAIN to access .store Internet menus.

Sequence

Enter a sequence number, or click the Lookup button to list all sequence numbers. The sequence number identifies the order in which the menu items appear when the Display on Main Menu and Display on Menu Bar check boxes are selected. You can manipulate the order of appearance of menu items by clearing the Display on Main Menu and Display on Menu Bar check boxes for permanent records and creating new records using different sequence numbers.

Display on Main Menu

Select this check box to display the menu item on the Main menu on your Web pages. Clear this check box if you do not want the menu item to appear on the Main menu.

Main Menu Text

Type the menu text to appear on the Main menu. This field is available only if the Display on Main Menu check box is selected.

Display on Menu Bar

Select this check box to display the menu item on the Menu Bar at the bottom of the page. Clear this check box if you do not want the menu item to appear on the Menu Bar.

Menu Bar Text

Type the menu text to display on the Menu Bar. This field is available only if the Display on Menu Bar check box is selected.

Use SSL Protocol

Select this check box to use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Protocol for security when viewing the Web pages that use this menu item. For example, you may want to select this check box for menu items that contain Web pages with profile information or credit card numbers. Secure Socket Layer technology is present when you type https:// in a URL. A small yellow lock displays in the status bar at the bottom of a Web page. For more information, see eBusiness Manager FAQs. Clear this check box if you do not want to use SSL Procotol for Web pages that use this menu item.

External Link

Select this check box to link to a Web page that is external from the IIS Server defined in the eBusiness Manager Options window. Clear this check box to link to a Web page that is on the IIS Server defined in the eBusiness Manager Options window. For more information, see eBusiness Manager FAQs.

HREF Link

Type the HREF or URL link for the selected menu item.

Require User ID Supervisor Rights

Select this check box to allow only users with supervisor rights enabled in User ID Maintenance to access the menu option. Clear this check box to allow all users to access the menu option. For more information, see User ID Maintenance.

Require User ID Shopping Cart Rights

Select this check box to allow only users with shopping cart rights enabled in User ID Maintenance to access the menu option. Clear this check box to allow all users to access the menu option. For more information, see User ID Maintenance.
