Character form printing relies on the specified line and tab position of each field and field descriptor within the form layout. The software prints character forms one line at a time; therefore, a heavy reliance is made on the correct specification of the form/paper length. To avoid issues such as pages "creeping" and blank pages between forms, the correct form length must be specified.
