You can set the accounting date for all modules from the workstation's system date for convenience and to ensure that users do not accidentally use an old accounting date.

 

To set the accounting date from the system date

  1. Select Library Master Main menu > Company Maintenance.

  2. Enter a company in the Company Code field.

  3. Click the Preferences tab.

  4. Select the Auto Set Accounting Date from System Date check box. For more information, see Company Maintenance - Fields.

  5. Click Accept.

The accounting date is set from the system date.
