Generate Employee PDF Passwords

Passwords are required for opening direct deposit stubs in PDF format. You can generate passwords to open direct deposit stubs for all employees who do not have a password. The password can be changed from Employee Maintenance or Employee Self Service.

Expand/Collapse item  Before You Begin

You must enable Paperless Office for forms in Paperless Office Options before you can generate employee PDF passwords.

 

To generate employee PDF passwords

  1. Select Paperless Office Setup menu > Form Maintenance.

  2. Select the company code. In the Module Code field, enter P/R for Payroll. For more information, see Form Maintenance - Fields.

  3. In the Document field, select Direct Deposit Stub.

  4. If you are sending direct deposit stubs to employees by e-mail, select the Enable Electronic Delivery check box. Enter the appropriate options on the Main tab.

  5. Click the Additional tab. In the Default Employee Password field, select the type of passwords to generate. For example, to generate a password for each employee that is equal to their Social Security number, select Social Security Number.

  6. Click Generate Passwords.

A message appears that displays the number of passwords generated.
