Determining Time Off Availability

The number of time off hours available to an employee is based on the selection in the Base Time Off Availability On field in Payroll Options.

If Limit is selected in the Base Time Off Availability On field, the availability of employee time off is based on the annual limit for the time off entered in Employee Maintenance plus the carry-over allowance minus the amount used for the time off entered in Payroll Data Entry.

If Accrual is selected in the Base Time Off Availability On field, the availability of employee time off is based on the accrual amount accumulated during normal Payroll processing plus the carry-over allowance minus the amount used for the time off entered in Payroll Data Entry.
