Customer No. / Ship-To State/Province
If you selected Customer in the Enable Purchase Control of Items field in Sales Order Options, enter a customer number or click the Lookup button to list all customer numbers.
Alternately, start typing a customer name to locate a record. As you type, a list of records matching your entry appears. You can then select a record from the list, and the customer number will appear in the field.
If you selected Ship-To State/Province in the Enable Purchase Control of Items field in Sales Order Options, enter a two-character state or province abbreviation.
Click the Purchase Control Entries button to list all purchase control records.
Click the Copy From button to create a new entry by copying information from an existing entry. For more information, see Copy From (Purchase Control Maintenance).
This field displays the customer name; it is available only if Customer is selected in the Enable Purchase Control of Items field in Sales Order Options. This field can only be viewed.
1. Items
Enter an item code or click the Lookup button to list all item codes.
Alternately, start typing an item description to locate an item. As you type, a list of records matching your entry appears. You can then select an item from the list, and the item code will appear in the field.
The selected item will be allowed for purchase if you selected Items Allowed in the Control Purchases Based On field in Sales Order Options.
The selected item will not be allowed for purchase if you selected Items Not Allowed in the Control Purchases Based On field in Sales Order Options.
Click the Multiple Item Selection button to select multiple items using a selection criteria. For more information, see Multiple Item Selection.
Click the Find Row button to search for a row using the Search Grid window.
This field displays the item description and can only be viewed.
2. Prod Lines
Enter a product line or click the Lookup button to list all product lines.
The items in the selected product line will be allowed for purchase if you selected Items Allowed in the Control Purchases Based On field in Sales Order Options.
The items in the selected product line will not be allowed for purchase if you selected Items Not Allowed in the Control Purchases Based On field in Sales Order Options.
Click the Multiple Product Line Selection button to select multiple product lines using a selection criteria. For more information, see Multiple Product Line Selection.
Click the Find Row button to search for a row using the Search Grid window.
This field displays the product line description and can only be viewed.
