Select the format type.
Select Short to use a MM/DD/YY format.
Select Long to use the day, descriptive month, date, and 4-digit year.
Select Custom to allow each component of the date mask to be specified. If any settings are changed, the type is changed to Custom automatically.
Select an order option.
Select MDY to use an order of month, date, year.
Select DMY to use an order of date, month, year.
Select YMD to use an order of year, month, date.
Select the day-of-the-week format to use. You can also type a separator character to follow the day description.
Select Long to use the full name for the day of the week.
Select Short to use the abbreviation for the day of the week.
Select None if you do not want to include the day of the week.
