Note A table is linked to the primary table if the key to the table is contained in one or more of the primary table's column names. If those column names have values (so the key can be assembled), data from the linked table is available to make assignments to the primary table fields.

This list box displays all conditional operators and special functions. Double-click a function or operator to add it to the expression. Double-click a function and then double-click a field to insert the field within the function's parentheses.
This field displays the table name and column name, and can only be viewed.
This field displays the expression type (Calculation or Conditional), and can only be viewed.
You can edit the calculation expression in this field. As fields, functions, and operators are selected from the Available Fields, Current Job Fields, and Functions & Operators list boxes, they are added to this field automatically. The expression can be edited directly to add parentheses and make other changes.
