Select Visual Integrator Main menu > Import Job Maintenance. In the Import Job Selection window, enter a job name and table name, and then click Accept. In the Import Job Maintenance window, click Perform.

Overview

Use Perform Maintenance to set special instructions to perform when the import job begins, when it is completed, before or after assigning a particular data field, or before or after writing to a particular record type. Multiple perform logic can be specified for each of six command types (On Execution, On Completion, Before Write, After Write, Before Assign, and After Assign).

The Perform Maintenance task is for use by qualified Master Developers to link special programming logic to an import job.

Note Perform Maintenance is not an editor for the perform program itself, but instead allows you to supply a path and label for the perform to be executed at the appropriate time.
