Expand/Collapse item  Overview

When importing from an external file, it may be necessary to ignore records that do not contain applicable information. You can define records that should be skipped (ignored), such as header records and marker records. You can define any number of skip records.

If you are importing into a data file that does not use multiple record types, you can define standard records to import. Standard records are the opposite of skip records in that you are identifying the records to import. Any record not identified as a standard record will be skipped. You can define any number of standard records.

Note The Standard Record type is used only if the data file does not contain multiple records.
