You can unlock a job that has stopped abnormally or cannot terminate normally.

  • The Unlock button is available only with the appropriate security setup.

  • This procedure should be performed only to terminate a job that cannot complete normally.

 

To unlock a job

  1. When the job is currently running, in the Export Job Maintenance or Import Job Maintenance window, click Job Info.

  2. In the Job Information window, the Unlock button appears if the selected job is currently running. Click Unlock to clear the status flag for the job and terminate the job.

  3. You are prompted to confirm the job termination.

The job is terminated and the status flag cleared.
