Use Recalculate Account Balances to recalculate account balances for all fiscal years and to validate the beginning balance period for all accounts. Because detail transaction history and period posting history are closely related, Recalculate Account Balances can be used to recalculate and realign account balances based on transaction data, if for example, the period posting history table becomes damaged.
