Overview

Use the Activity Log Purge window to purge records from the log file. When purged, records are either deleted or added to an archive file, depending on your selection in the Activity Log Purge - Configuration window. Archive files are stored here: ..\MAS90\MAS_System\Archive

You can set the minimum number of days to keep records before they can be purged in the configuration window. If you don't see any records in the Records to Purge list, it may be because no records are available to purge based on the value in the Minimum Days To Keep field. Click the Activity Log Purge Configuration button to view the setting.

The Selection Criteria area shows the filters that are used to determine which records appear in the Records to Purge list. Default filters are automatically applied, but you can click the Activity Log Filter button to modify the selection criteria. You cannot purge records from the current day.

You can manually select specific records to purge by clicking the records in the Records to Purge list. If you don't manually select any records, all records that match the selection criteria are purged.

Note If a value is entered in the Number of Rows to Load field in the Activity Log Purge - Configuration window, and the number of records matching the selection criteria exceeds this value, clicking Purge will purge more records than what you can see in the window. Click Load Next to add additional records to the list.

You can automate the purging process using Task Scheduler. The Activity Log Purge - Configuration window includes options to determine which records are purged when a purge is scheduled. For information on using Task Scheduler, see Schedule a Task.
