Expand/Collapse item Overview

For any element in a process flow, you can create an action to specify what happens when a user clicks the element.

To create an action

  1. In the Visual Process Flows Designer, click the actions (Action button) button.

Identifying numbers are displayed for elements in the process flow, and a window opens that you use to set up actions.

  2. On a blank line, specify settings for the action:
    • In the Type field, select an action type:
      • show_hide. Clicking the trigger element shows or hides the target element.
      • show. Clicking the trigger element shows the target element.
      • hide. Clicking the trigger element hides the target element.
    • In the Trigger field, enter the number of one or more elements that will trigger the action.

When entering multiple elements, separate the element numbers with a comma (for example: 23,24,25).

    • In the Target field, enter the number of one or more target elements.
  3. Click Save.
