This list displays the columns that are available to the Data View grid. Select the check box next to the column name to display the column in the Data View grid. Clear the check box next to the column name to hide the column in the Data View grid.
The attributes of the column selected in the Columns list are displayed.
Type the caption to display in the column header in the Data View grid.
Type the width of the column.
Select the format type to apply to the column.
Note Global formatting for the column types (date, number, currency, boolean) are defined in the Format Settings window, but can be modified at the column level in the Column Class Format Settings section in this window.
Select this check box to merge cells with the same values as those entered in the Caption, Width, and Format fields. Cells within a column in the Data View grid that have the same values are merged and displayed as a single cell, with the cell's value only displaying once. Clear this check box if you do not want to merge cells with the same values as those entered in the Caption, Width, and Format fields.
Select this check box to use column level formatting for the column. Clear this check box, to use the global default class formatting for the column. If this check box is selected, the column uses its own class format settings as specified in the Column Class Format Settings section in this window.
Select the date type format to apply to the column selected in the Columns list. This field is available only if Date is selected in the Format field and the Use Column Level Formatter check box is selected.
Select the number type format to apply to the column selected in the Columns list. This field is available only if Numeric is selected in the Format field and the Use Column Level Formatter check box is selected.
Select the currency type format to apply to the column selected in the Columns list. This field is available only if Currency is selected in the Format field and the Use Column Level Formatter check box is selected.
Select the boolean type format to apply to the column selected in the Columns list. This field is available only if Boolean is selected in the Format field and the Use Column Level Formatter check box is selected.
Type the named value to apply to the column selected in the Columns list. This field is available only if NamedValue is selected in the Format field and the Use Column Level Formatter check box is selected.
