You can show or hide columns in the Business Insights Explorer window.

To hide a column

  1. Select Business Insights Explorer menu, and then select a view.

  2. In the Business Insights Explorer window, in the Data View grid, locate the column that you want to hide.

  3. Click and drag the column header off the Data View grid.

The column is hidden from the Data View grid.

While dragging the column header off the Data View grid, you will see a large “X.” This indicates the column will be hidden; however, the column can be restored. For more information, see the following procedure.

To show a column

  1. Select Business Insights Explorer menu, and then select a view.

  2. In the Business Insights Explorer window, on the Business Insights Explorer toolbar, click the Column Selection button.

  3. In the Column Selection window, select the column header and click and drag it to the location on the Data View grid where you want to display it.

The column is displayed in the Data View grid.
