Select Bill of Materials Main menu > Bill of Materials Maintenance. In the Bill of Materials Maintenance window, click Copy From.

Use Copy From Bill to create a new bill from an existing bill. When the information is copied, you can access any data field and modify the information for the new bill number.
If a warning message appears due to conflicts, some line detail information will not be copied. Some bill information detail cannot be copied for one of the following reasons:

If the component item code on the source line to copy is the same as the bill number of the destination bill.

If the component item code on the source line to copy is a Miscellaneous Charge type and the destination bill is a Kit type.

If the component item code on the source line to copy is a phantom sub-bill and the destination bill is either a Phantom or Kit type.
Note If the Enable Engineering Change Control check box is selected in Bill of Materials Options and the date in the Add Date or Delete Date fields in the source bill to copy from falls outside the boundaries of the selected Effective Date, inventory item lines will be skipped when using the copy feature.
