Select Bill of Materials Inquiries menu > Where-Used Inquiry.
|
|
Use Where-Used Inquiry to view a complete list of all bills that a specific item is a component of. Included in the review are the parent bill number, revision code, bill type, bill option, quantity/bill, and engineering change dates.
Note If the Require Bill Revisions or Enable Engineering Change Control check box is cleared in Bill of Materials Options, the revision code or engineering changed dates are not displayed.
For each component item code entered, you can designate the type of inquiry to perform.

The Single-Level option displays single-level bills where a specific item is a component.

The Indented option displays the component items on a bill, with each level indented from the preceding level.

The Summarized option displays a summarized view of the multi-level bills.
The information provided in Where-Used Inquiry can only be viewed.
