Default Values for Production Entry

Next Production Number

Type the next production entry number to use. This value can be saved as the default next entry number in Production Entry for the current data entry session, as well as future data entry sessions.

 

Production Date

Enter a production date, or click the Calendar button to select a date from the calendar. The date entered prints on the Production History Report as the date on which production of the finished product occurred. This value can be saved as the default production date in Production Entry for the current data entry session only.

 

Effective Date

Enter an effective date, or click the Calendar button to select a date from the calendar. All engineering changes through the date specified will be included. This field is available only if the Enable Engineering Change Control check box is selected in the Bill of Materials Options window. This value can be saved as the default effective date in Production Entry for the current data entry session only.

 

Parent Warehouse

Enter a warehouse code for the default parent warehouse, or click the Lookup button to list all warehouse codes. This warehouse is used to record the inventory location of finished products. If the Require Multiple Warehouses check box is cleared in the Inventory Management Options window, this field displays the default parent warehouse, and can only be viewed.

 

Component Warehouse

Enter a warehouse code for the default component warehouse, or click the Lookup button to list all warehouse codes. This warehouse is used to record the inventory location of the component items that were used to manufacture finished products. If the Require Multiple Warehouses check box is cleared in the Inventory Management Options window, this field displays the default component warehouse, and can only be viewed.

 

Explode Sub-Assemblies

Select this check box to explode subassemblies by default for production entries. Clear this check box if you do not want to explode subassemblies by default for production entries.
