Option bills can be established without entering negative quantities. By defining the base bill with only the components common to all configurations, you can define option bills with the components that must be added (positive quantity), without any components that must be deleted. If this type of structuring meets your needs, or if you have no requirement for option bills, clear the Allow Entry of Negative Quantities check box in the Bill of Materials Options window to prevent the entry of negative quantities.
